How long have you been at Evergreen?
I started working at Evergreen in 2012.

What do you do?
I’m the project manager, which means that I’m in charge of making sure that projects stick to their timelines and budgets. I also interact with our clients to ensure that our work is meeting the intent they had for the idea.

What do you love about working here?
I enjoy the variety of projects. We never know what’s around the corner and I love the challenge of figuring out how we’ll bring something to life.

Which project is your favorite so far?
I loved working on the interpretive exhibit at Otter Creek Lake & Park. I was involved from the design phase through to installation. It’s a permanent exhibit, which means that it’ll be there for a very long time.

How did you get into this line of work?
I’ve always loved building. I came home from kindergarten with a report card that said I had “excellent building skills” (my almost 2 year old is the same way). People might be surprised to know that I also spent some time in financial planning before coming to Evergreen. The skills I learned in that line of work really help me with the financial aspects of our projects.

Have you ever used your skills for “extracurricular” work?
I have done some work with Habitat for Humanity. It’s pretty amazing to see the houses come together over the course of the project.
